Using the tools
Craft Pattern Maker provides free browser-based tools that convert images you supply into craft charts. The tools are provided as-is, without warranty. Always double-check a chart before committing significant time and materials to a project.
Your uploads are your responsibility
You may only upload images that you own or have the right to use. Do not use the tools to create patterns from copyrighted artwork, characters or brands that you do not have rights to. You are solely responsible for the images you process and for how you use the resulting charts.
Pattern usage rights
Charts generated from your own images are free to use for personal projects, including gifts. Selling finished items made from a chart requires a commercial license, which will be included in our upcoming Pro plan — until Pro is available, contact us for commercial use. The chart files themselves (PNG or PDF) may not be resold, shared publicly or redistributed, whether free or paid.
DMCA / copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email hello@craftpatternmaker.com with the URL, a description of the copyrighted work, and your contact details, and we will respond promptly.
